Hi Madskp, thanks! The symbols come from all kind of pdf manuals etc. (Maybe it would be nice to make a decent/scaled properly Powerpoint/Keynote template with all B&O devices?)
I use the second BLC to separate the PHONO input of the BM6500 from the N.RADIO source of the Core (same Beo4 command). So the BLC is actually a filter for the CD command. Would you believe that it could be done without? I really want to keep remote commands logical for my dear family members and use RADIO for N.RADIO also. I agree, pretty elaborate, but it works well.
Will change my diagram to Audio Aux Link ๐

Congratulations Leosgonewild! I will keep on dreaming a little more…
Hi Kirin, well spotted haha. The LG gets the 4K input from the Apple TV directly. I only use the BS3 as an audio hub. The optical digital output of the LG is converted to co-axial and then fed into the BS3. I think this only gives max 5.1 (which is ok for me as you can see on the overview).
Maybe check this thread too: https://beoworld.dev.idslogic.net/forums/topic/earc-and-beosystem-3/

Great to see that you got it working again. Thanks for reporting back, and even more for becoming a Silver member! Much appreciated.
Today I finally replaced some unused coax wires with Cat7 cables and re-added my BeoMaster 6500 / BeoGram CD 7000 combo to my set-up. They are in the attic (study) and connected through a 1611 to go from MCL to ML, and a BLC to go from ML to NL.
I made a little overview of the whole network :-).
Next trial will be to connect the BL4000s directly to the Core. Until now I kept them in the larger ML network to avoid sync issues, but if they sound better without the Active and BLC in the chain, I will see to fix any delay issues and get an IR eye connected to the Core for Beo4 control in the kitchen. Hi Jakes, these are available under โMain Web Siteโ, then when you go to โProductsโ you can find a link to hundreds of manuals and service manuals. But you need to be a Silver or, better, Gold member first to access them.
Hope you can find the issue. They are wonderful speakers

Hi again,
Also for this TV I cannot help you, but when you become silver or gold member of the forum you can download the service manual (that for sure has a section on geometry settings!).

Johan
Hi joseduarte, and welcome!
I cannot help you with this (don’t have this TV) but when you become silver or gold member of the forum you can download the service manual (that for sure has a section on geometry settings!

Hello Jakes, maybe you can plug swap plugs momentarily – plug the BL10’s PowerLink cable into one of the PowerLink sockets of the BeoSystem 3 that you know works (for instance one of the BL5s). You need to be positive that the PowerLink cable is ok.
If there is no sound from the BL10, the speaker has a problem. If there is, it is the BS3.
The service manual mentions a status LED (in the connector well), did you check that?

Johan
Keith, Lee, Dillen, Guy, Matador, Steve (and all others rowing the Beoworld boat), thanks a lot for doing so. The forum is addictive to me! Already for years. And though I am not fixing BeoGrams or finetuning Theatres, I really enjoy checking in with almost all threads every day. I was sad when it was down for some time, ha. My Masterlink system would not be working so nicely without information and help provided through Beoworld. And where I could, I hope to have helped some others with some tips, which can be satisfying, especially when it helps. My Gold membership is here to stay for now, irrespective of the number of prize draws. And also if the price needs to go up a bit from the VERY friendly 30 pounds. I know there is no other comparison but for me, in hours of entertainment per pound, Beoworld beats Netflix easily. All the best, Johan.
You beat me Guy ๐

Groet, Johan
My guess is that BL5 prioritize the coaxial input for signal processing and that the PL are used for volume control.
Hi YannChris, maybe you know this.
I am hoping one day to own a set of BeoLab 5s, and feed them a digital signal from a BeoSound Core (for optimal quality). They would be also front speakers for my BeoSystem 3 setup, so partly something like this (think Core instead of 9000).
My Core is part of a BeoLink NL/ML system, so I am now wondering: if I watch TV (BS3 feeding analog signals into the BL5s), but in another room someone starts the linked Core’s radio (it will start to provide a digital output signal), will the BL 5s keep playing TV audio or will they let the digital radio audio overrule?
Regards, Johan
Ja, daar zit wat in. Zo ingewikkeld is het niet, een RJ45 erop knijpen ๐

Hallo roycke,
Groet, Johan
Looks cool Evan! Will you make use of the ribbed backside of the BL4000s so the position angle can be varied (or will it rely on gravity and friction).
Johan
Hi mreilly2002, and welcome!
Connecting the Sky Glass TV’s eARC HDMI port with an HDMI port on the BeoSystem3 will not work. Search the archive forums and you will find threads like these: https://archivedforum2.beoworld.co.uk/forums/p/23067/191023.aspx#191023 / https://archivedforum2.beoworld.co.uk/forums/p/44743/324322.aspx#324322.
As I think there is no (optical) audio output on the TV, the option you have is to extract the audio signal from the eARC port and then feeding it into the BS3 either with a coax spdif or an HDMI lead, using something like this: https://marmitek.com/collections/hdmi-audio-extractor/products/connect-ae14-hdmi-audio-extractor-4k-arc or this https://www.reichelt.nl/nl/en/hdmi-earc-audio-adapter-extractor-4k-18-gb-s-pure-ptchdearc4k-p311687.html?CCOUNTRY=662&LANGUAGE=nl&GROUPID=5391&START=0&OFFSET=16&SID=93Xlul5qwQATUAAEhF17k8d54b7f16b05b0e810d1859a0f9e7465&LANGUAGE=EN&&r=1. There are many if you google a bit.
My advice is to be critical when selecting one: if I am not wrong the Marmitek wants you to press a button each time you use it? I would not want to do that!
I use a BeoSystem 3 for processing audio only using it’s spdif coax input and that works fine with me (5.1 max). I believe that when using one of its HDMI inputs you can play also 7.1.
Good luck, let us know your next steps.
Regards, Johan
Hi Joost, all, did anyone see or try this product: https://neomesteren.dk/en/produkter/neoradio?
What could be interesting is the claim “Neo Stream is developed for Neo Radio. You experience it as DAB channels. Change channels with your Beo4 or Beoremote One. It couldn’t be easier.” There is no manual available on the site, so how that exactly works is not clear to me. I would guess it converts internet radio into an FM signal that is fed into the antenna input plug.
It states that the Neo Radio supports BeoSound 9000.
Not supercheap either (3000 dkk / 400 eur) and currently out of stock.
Regards,
Johan
