I did not send you an email. I sent you a Personal Message through the forum.

Please check the Personal Message in the forum (in the top right when you are logged in on a web browser). There you will find my message containing my email address ?
I already sent you a PM. You did not get it?
I need access to a computer, can’t send pm from my phone. Will contact you within two days.
I’ll buy it ?
Would it be an option to connect an Apple TV to the lg oled, and then running optical to coax from the LG oled to the BS3?
that way you can use a BeoRemote one BT as this can be paired with the Apple TV.
You will. It have those curtains, but how many hoops will you jumpy through to get that working?
Here is what the Beosound core is capable of handling:
MP3, WMA, AAC, ALAC, FLAC, WAV, AIFF Standard sample rates up to 192 kHz, stereo and up to 24 bit
End-to-end rendering path on the optical interface: 96kHz/24bitMy goal here is to get this into the core and out to my Beolab 5’s. I know the Beolab 5 also has its limit to what it can handle.
To clarify; I am mor e than satisfied with the sound of Airplay 2 at 16/44 for daily use.
And just to make this more difficult, Apple Music is not supported on the older Apple TV models that has optical output.
Hi MM,
why not just swap the plastic part so you get the B&O-logo on the functioning one?
I took the essence remote apart and posted pictures in the old forum. Reason? Same issue as you, MM. the wheel was not spinning properly, felt like it was sand inside it.
it seemed to me that the lubricant that had been used in the ball bearing caused the plastic ring holding them in place to dissolve.
I managed to drop all the metal balls out from the bearing, and did not have the tools (strong enough magnets) to get them in place again.it should be doable do clean of the old grease/lubricant and fit a new o-ring, but you have to be very careful. Chances of messing up is 85%
Could you share the code you are sending to the LG for the screen/off command?
What I would do was to buy an adapter to put any LG on the BV7-55 stand (from neomesteren)
and then I would connect everything to this unit.
https://almando.com/almando-multiplay-surround-decoder-78.html?___store=endkunde_eng&___from_store=defaultThe following should be possible:
buy and lg oled, and exchange the lcd for the oled.
you can connect the lg oled to the output on the Beovision (might even be that you can connect it to the board directly)Once you have removed the speakers inside the lg oled, it is not much left that will take up space.
You will most likely need to run to remotes.
Here is a picture of the lg oled c9 with rear cover removed.I just managed to modify my connection Hub to receive IR commands from my BeoRemote One IR ?
Any reason for not doing this? (any hazard?)
shiddy soldering.
I have the Google VYUDCFDX3VF8H mesh with two mesh points. Works flawlessly.
Is that just a frosted glass with a short throw projector behind it?
And what is the point of that kind of screen?
October 22, 2023 at 10:18 am in reply to: Troubleshoot: Beolab 5 will not calibrate and it pops #25093I had the same issue. It started the calibration process, but it would just do the two or three first low frequencies before it aborted.
I swapped the microphones, and the issue was duplicated to the other speaker.
I did however have a failing chassis also (the midrange had no sound), so I ended up with a chase swap and a new microphone.
Now the fugged up thing with this is that they are MK1. One speaker had already had a chase repair (swap), and the geniuses at the factory in Denmark had replaced it with a MK3-chassie. So now I am running one Mk1 speaker with software 1.6x, and a MK3 with software 3.6x
So what messes up this now is that when they are off, the MK1 stays red, but the MK3 goes completely off after a few seconds.
Only fix is to downgrade the MK3 to 2.6x
