        Thanks for the great advice.

Budget: Nothing crazy, I will still predominantly stream music and there are better areas to spend larger sums on. I guess I’d like to have something looking good and working for around €500-700. Have come across an RX2 with mmc4 cartridge, which looks quite nice and apparently works (lets see).

Is there a reference somewhere where you can see the dimensions of each model? It needs to go on top of a USM shelf with a depth of 35cm.

With regard to cartridges, is it better to buy used and ‘re-tip’ (whatever that means) or are there after market alternatives? I assume B&O no longer sell these.

I wonder if this will also be “Future Proof” like the Beosound Core? For me, the streaming options are a concern. They need to make products that can adapt to new technology, I’m not spending 1000+ on something that will become another hockey puck in 2 years.

He’s just an A@#hole. First move was to connect to the core (I didn’t realise this defaults to allowing all bluetooth connections, I don’t use bluetooth, sorted that out today) and blast music at 1:30AM. After I disconnected the core, music started coming out of the speakers again, though not as loud. I assumed this meant he connected them to a WISA TV. They are connected via powerlink, and are set as left and right, though I haven’t found any documentation that states this disables WISA. He wouldn’t have been able to connect any other way, as I unplugged the core and that’s the only thing connected to them.

We aren’t in the same building, but have a common wall. I know who it is, as his phone connected via bluetooth as [NAME’s] Phone.

I tried to talk to him, but he didn’t answer the door today. I might find it funny if I didn’t have small children who were terrified.

I’ll try talk to him tomorrow, let me know if you have any ideas, and thanks as always!

Thanks for all the advice. I’ll definitely pass on the Avant. With the new Theatre, which I took a look at in Berlin on Friday, it makes no sense anyway.

Definitely the right direction for B&O.
