Hi Sir… so.. you are just sending 1 channel to the BL 7-4? (L or R) correct? ive been having issues also sending both channels to the same speaker..
WOW… never realized that i was the “next to last” Founder !!! loved those days..lots of vintage talk..integrating ML with MCL and all the different boxes.. 8pins.. how to bypass, etc.. looking forward to vintage talk again !! Remember writing w you Keith on some equipment issues.

Hi Keith.. ive found the log in names.. and changed the passwords for the old founding member but still it won’t let me log in… is there a way? Ive had to make newer accounts through the years..as ive had similar probs.. LMK if possible.. have some vintage questions would like to catch up w old friends here. Be well.
Hi Keith, I was a founder member and gold at one time.. lost contact with the whole group..after many family issues.. im just now entering retirement.. and have time to return to BO…. ive no longer my contact info.. i’ll try to find it.. remember all you guys from 2007..the “give aways” etc..it was a fun time.. Great to be back and see all the healthy BnO fam.!! also need some equipment..so shopping…lol
this is a great idea…!! never thought of this.. If we use just 1 Beolab 7.4 for center.. we only send Left OR Right…correct? We dont send both signals (L R) to this speaker. I ask because..i have a 7.4 that we make the RCA cable to powerlink and 12v trigger. We send BOTH left and right..but the speaker sounds very loud..more than the other speakers..i think we send double signal too much.
IMO… any, all BO equipment needs a powered sub of some type and a graphic equalizer. Since i dont listen to music at very high volume.. the distortion factor due to dB boost is not an issue.. and a set of 8000’s with a 12 band graphic equalizer and a sub. from 12-15″ allow very low level music listening to just awaken.. to a level that is so awesome..
One last thing.. we have built the 12v trigger for the Beolab 7-4 to activate it..and use non BO equipment… works like a charm.. we have tried the same wiring pattern and cables we made on the BO passives and can not get them to turn on.. is there another trick? do we need to connect the BO (IR eyes) ?
Oh.. we have tons of stuff..like IR eyes.. no idea how many probably 15 or more.. have the outdoor plastic boxes sealed to mount the IR eyes in.. and lots of cups.. for the eyes..aluminum.. bezels, etc.. its been one hell of a journey accumulating all this stuff..and i love it.
