lol, I was. I didn’t even notice. Well I fixed it myself. Sorry for the confusion.
As an owner of a cherry Beocenter 2, I was in the same situation. No matter what I tried, I couldn’t get it to work. Until I powered the Beocenter 2 down and tried it and worked the first time! And it works for the two Beo4 and Beo One remotes. I hav noticed that if you unplug the unit, you might have to go through the same process after plugging it in again
I have a pair of doors sitting in a drawer, excellent condition. More than happy to send to you for shipping cost.
No luck. I even reset it to defaults. It still says go to the TV to adjust sound. Maybe is is the power link cable. Thanks for the suggestions anyway.
The lithium battery is dead. It looks like it’s soldered or glued in place?
Yes, it is very possible a surge damaged it. It was on a protector, but it seems to me we lost some equipment at one point. I do have the service manual and I’ll give it a look at some point. Thanks for the suggestions!
Both green and red lights flash when I select a source from the keypad or the remote, but nothing happens. The doors will close when a button is touched, but nothing else happens. That’s why I originally thought it was maybe a fuse. The unit sat in my office at work for two years without being used during COVID.
The fuses are all good. Any idea why the doors open and close, lights come on, CD load works, but nether the tape, radio or CD will play. The display has both a green and red light displaying. Thanks!
