Just to inform you, that finally I changed the resistor from 270ohm 2w with a new one 330ohm 5w and now is much better. It runs hot but not so much as it was with no other problems. I hope I did the right!

          Hello Martin,

Thank you for your answer. The resistor r24 that runs hot is 270ohm 3w. Maybe it’s life came to an end. Can I put a bigger resistor eg 330ohm 5w?

How can I order from beoshop. Does it need a new register? The lamps that I use now are auto bulbs with the same characteristics as I said 12v 80mA. I think that the resistor is the problem.

Tape belts are completely different case comparing with cheap chinese ones. This has to do with quality of rubber, tension and a lot of other reasons. A lamp of 12v 80mA is always the same no matter if it lasts for 1 week or 5 years. It depends on quality.

My problem, in this case, is why the resistor runs so hot and if it is normal. Maybe it is. But i need someone more experienced than me to confirm this.

Also one more question. I can not understand why insist on Beoparts. A lamp 12v/80mA has the same characteristics even bought from beoparts or elsewhere. I can imagine something special. Am i wrong?

Sorry for being so unpatient but i was working all night and did not realize the time.

Yes i put a bulb 12V 80mA in stereo indicator but the resistor run so hot in less than 20 seconds so i put it away. Is it obvious to happen this?

Sorry for my silly questions but i am amateur on this equipment

Thank you. No, I did not get the bulbs from the link you sent me. I read the service manual and bought them from the local market. But I am still wondering what are the specs of these lamps, especially the stereo bulb. I used a 12v 80mA lamp but the resistor running too hot,

                    Please someone to inform me.
