Just to give it a voice as well: I do love the latest app the most from a design and UX perspective. Too many bugs during development, but the Ux idea is for me the way to go!

I know… lots of complaints here, and there’s still a lot to be fixed. But I still want to say: I really like the new design, looks way more modern and user friendly to me! Let’s see how they’re going to integrate the missing functions…
Same here… with BL6000 rears and BL5 front. BL5 are fine, rears have the noise.
The new hardware has been announced today! It’s called Beoliving Intelligence 3rd Gen.

What’s new

Note: Power over Ethernet (POE) is only supported when using the external adapter available for Beoremote Halo. If you require POE, please request the adapter and ensure that your Beoliving Intelligence 3rd generation is running firmware v2.3.1.429 or newer.
The Beoliving app still acts as the simple and easy to use interface to control your home.

Easy migration
We’ve taken special care to ensure an easy migration of your previous configurations is possible, whether you’re upgrading from generation 1 or from a Beolink Gateway. Merely store your configuration and load it directly into the Beoliving Intelligence 3rd Generation.
Importantly, please note that no launch orders will be placed for the new 3rd Generation of Beoliving Intelligence. The product will be opened for ordering in ROS during week 12, 2023.Same here… judt ordered a pair of Pale Blue batteries (new technology of rechargeable batteries) that can be charged directly via usb-c… I‘ll let you know as soon as I tested them for a few weeks/months… :). Recharging takes just an hour, btw.
My dealer confirmed there is a MKII last October with minor changes but he didn’t know exactly when it was coming out.
I heard yesterday from another source that MKII was for dealers only, but MKIII should be the one for customers… but no more details yet :(.
I agree… but the new Apple TV or any other Matter device will probably not solve the integration of ASE products. So either I replace all the older B&O devices or I buy a BLI 🙂 that’s at least my understanding right now.
In my case it is to integrate B&O non-mozart devices into automations. for example as an alarm in the morning, I’m using the BLGW currently to control the shades and then turn on the music system in the rooms I need (bed room, living room, bathroom). Matter support helps for the living room (BS Theatre), but not for the others… because you’re not able to turn them on or send them a join command without the BLGW or BLI. And furthermore… the BLI talks to many home automation systems that don’t support Matter yet. I would actually see it as a brigde in my case between B&O, Matter and Digitalstrom (home automation).
Talking about the future… I won’t believe my BS35 or other ASE products will be controllable without a BLI. At least not, if you want to listen to a built in source of the device… B&O Radio for example which I love for the quality…
I hope this add-on makes it a bit more understandable, why the BLI is still something useful in some cases… And if I don’t see any easier solution for my issues… happy to hear your ideas!
I called a dealer and he told me that they had a new version (he said mkII) but he couldn’t tell more… and he mentioned that they were still waiting for a new software for the new device as it doesn’t really work so far. and he coudn’t sell it because it’s for showroom purpose… that’s all I know and I was wondering if anybody else has similor information 🙂
