Yes. But I won’t say.
I have one just like that – got it from you. 🙂Three rolling stands in one photo. You don’t see that every day.

August 27, 2023 at 9:39 am #23432I found these pocket calendars, note the different logos
They are full of many useful information, for example an højtonerundspreder(rondstraler) speaker in 1962 coasted 90 dkr
And i can see that 15 February 1962 the original owner spend 6dkr on cigars,3,50dkr on food and 6dkr on beer

January 28, 2024 at 8:55 pm #29175Not the usual bottle opener design
Unfortnuatly corrosion is showing its signs on it.
My father tells me that is was given to the employes when 100.000 of the type 39xx series TV was made.
This my father used when he was doing layout sketches of PCB traces for B&O tv’s in the 80’s before it was compuerized.
I remeber he had some black tape in different withds and alsosome small round dots to use where the component legs should be.

Hey Dennis,Been searching for some info about the “hotel version” of the Beo4 and whether it is even possible to “jailbreak” it somehow, and came across with Your post.
So sharing picture of mine Beo4 for hotels. It was custom made for Hyatt Regency.
I was a bit disappointed with my first B&O product because of this very remote. A couple days ago I bought low mileage black BeoVision 7-32 Mk4 type 9177 (w BTB module) with motorized stand, Beolab 7.1, stb bracket and “Beo4 hotel”. The entire set cost me USD 130.
All I can do is select TV, DVD, MyMusic (enables Camcorder) as source. It mentions HDMI-1, 2, 3, 4 along with DVI in hdtv (connection settings) even though I can’t find any HMDIs.
I’m also a bit puzzled with power consumption of the BV7, it says just 98w (while other bv7 state at least 150+ watts).
I really hope my BV7 is not limited like the Beo4 hotel version.
I would appreciate Your input on the matter
February 13, 2024 at 11:30 pm #29794Hi MrMMMichail, that is a special remote! I doubt that the TV is ‘limited’. When you use the ‘MENU’ button, can you access and change things in the menu? Maybe you can post a picture of the menu screen, so I can compare that with my Mk3.
A big difference with a regular remote is that it misses the ‘LIST’ button, under which you can add various commands. And you said motorized stand, can you control that now?
Regards, Johan
February 15, 2024 at 4:39 pm #29853Hi Tignum, thank You for reply!
Yes, I can access and change settings in menu as well as control the stand.
I’d like to add to my previous post that before buying the set the seller showed me his PS3 connected through DVI (he selected MyMusic = Camera source). He turned PS3 on and in 5 seconds or so image appeared on the screen. Seems like the BV7 automatically recognized PS3. But when I change HDTV settings to DVI in “Camera”, it wont allow me to select the source and won’t recognize TV box.
Is there a way to make BeoVision 7 automatically recognize signals from sources? Maybe somewhere in service menu?
I decided to take a video for You and show how the BV7 works. Here is the link to YouTube.
Thanks again!

The names in the connection menu (AV1, AV2, CAMERA, etc) are matching the naming of the physical / analog inputs on the back. Any connection can be linked to an individual remote key. That is done using the SOURCE entry. So e.g. AV2 can be assigned to TV, AV3 to DTV and so on. DVI can then be assigned to that source using the HDTV option.
The HDMI options are shown there because back in the days they offered an external HDMI switch / expander that is automatically controlled by the TV.
In your video you are assigning the CAMERA input to the DTV remote button. That is the reason it doesn’t react to the CAMERA remote key any longer.
Also don’t forget to separately connect the audio signal from your source device as DVI does not carry that. You can either use SPDIF and select the matching port in the AUDIO SOCKET entry – or use the analog inputs (which are a bit inconvenient for the camera source – located behind the push-in flap on the side)

I have never really been found of the look of it, but when BS4 was announced at a price I couldn’t say no to I picked it up anyway
Of course it’s sticky all over since B&O at that point was going all in with these coatings on all surfaces.
Furthermore when powered up the glass door is moving down, but when it reach the buttom gear noice starts and keeps going.
Could be a sensor problem?
I was very surprised by the low weight of it when I picked it up. B&O must really have saved on the material bill on these units.
Anyway. First things first. I have allready started to remove the sticky coating as my fingers get all black when I touch it
