The recording came out in 2022 post mortem – it was fast finished before the tradigically death of David Lyngdon in November 2021.
David had been in the band Big Big Train since 2009 as frontman, singer and multiinstrumentalist.
This album is something worth listening to multiple times.

Just listening to the Calm app unwinding at the end of the day, usually use the H95’s but battery was low so resorted to using the E8 3.0’s instead… can’t beat the clarity of B&O headphones This track (Midnight – a Coldplay MOS remix) is excellent for watching your loudspeakers just sonically disappear into thin air and for listening to a totally immersive ultra-wide sound stage if Electronica is your bag?
I just listened to this new and very enjoyable release from Moby………the DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track

This is my first post on the new Forum so hopefully it works?! Currently on holidays down at the beach house and I should be listening to some Jeff Beck (RIP) but have The Strokes The New Abnormal playing. I saw them at their Melbourne concert in July last year and they were an amazing release after Covid lockdown.

Been listening to Red Cardell Running in Paris, track Mandolino, on cd thro’ ouverture and Beolab 6000’s, they are a local band here in Finistere – regularly go to see/watch over the summer months, brilliant shows!
Mandolino is about the singer’s lady, a well played / used instrument just like his mandolin!
Back to some early Yardbirds later, they will be on tape tho’ again via the ouverture etc, will also try to get some photos later!

Daft Punk – Random Access Memories – 10th Anniversary Edition.
If there is one album that deserves an Atmos mix when reissued, it must be this.
This is an album that I always liked…….the Atmos mix does not change that – it is gorgeous.N.B.
It is not labelled as Atmos in the album list on Apple Music.
Probably because not all tracks are in Atmos – but the main album sure is.
If there will ever be a physical release/a Blu Ray version of this, I’ll definitely get it.
Sounds pretty good on Apple Music, though.MM
