      Hi all,

So I have my Beosound 9000 6 cd changer mounted on my wall and want to remove it for cleaning. I didnt actually install it on the brackets when I moved in. What is the best way to remove it? My sound has become a bit distorted sometimes and I just cleaned my CD lense reader which helped alot.

Also have my speakers on brackets on the wall too that dont want to budge. They are raindrop shaped ones if that makes sense …

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello George, on the sides of the wallmounts you should be able to see a (bit of) the red latch through hole C (see below). Pushing with a suitable pin will release the hatch, and you should be able to slide the speaker off.bl4000

As a sidenote, are the 4000s not aiming too much at the floor? Part B of the wall bracket can be positioned using the ribs on the back in case you want them to be tilted more upward.

I hope someone else can help with the BS9000!

        Best of luck, Johan

I am not familiar with this wall bracket or way of mounting it. From the 2 brackets I do know the 9000 usually is hanging on two pegs so its just a straight lift up.

BUT do have a second person to assist as once you have lifted it just above the wall bracket you will need to disconnect the power cable and speakers. Its a bit fiddly but you will have to do this in reverse to put it back up.

This is the usual B&O table stand hooked to the wall.
Tilt and lift the main unit to separate it from the wall hooks part. See Below.

If the Beosound 9000 is mounted flat on a wall, then there should be a plate with hooks mounted to the wall and a plate with openings mounted to the BS9000. As mentioned above, dismounting the BS9000 from the wall is accomplished by lifting the unit vertically (to clear hooks in wall plate) and then away from the wall (to separate unit plate from wall plate).

thanks .. I got it off the wall but still trying to get it off the bracket … seems almost glued onto it haha … Any special way to take it off the bracket or just tilt and lift off?

                  Thanks

Thanks Matador, I did not know the table bracket could be wall mounted.

George M, it looks like a tilt and lift is the solution.

They should be screws in the top and bottom side like 30 cm from the side edges.
On the top side I think I remember they go through the bracket into the unit.
On the bottom side they are just like pegs sitting in a groove in the stand.
