      Hi,

What are the best options to connect Beolab 18 to LG C1 TV?

Hello jacob117, not sure if it is ‘best’, but both the TV and the speakers support WiSA, right?

        Regards, Johan

Jacob, I’ll make a suggestion, which I suspect is one not thought of often: S8 Connection hub.

This piece is made specifically to connect a L and R BeoLab in stereo configuration to nearly any TV and allow you to use your existing TV remote control to adjust volume. Give it a Google.

Well I tried WISA when it first came out on the C9 with the WISA dongle, and lets just say I was not impressed. But I might be wrong now, perhaps its gotten much better than at that point?

Preferably would be wired connection, I have seen this Hall wifi streamer thing that should do the job for a reasonable price, but I’m unsure if the sound is any good.
I also have a Beolab 2 I would like to add to the setup, but I guess that would be easy to extend from BL18 power link with both solutions.

I can assure you that the Hall device ‘sounds good’ – I have set up a few of those.
I still have the one I originally bought for testing – although no need for it at the moment, I will keep it…..just in case.

Just use a splitter cable – which can be ordered with the device, if you’d need one.

Basicly, adding a sub like the BL2 needs a bit of experimenting to find the right spot in the room in order to minimize room mode problems.

Perfect, I will go with this solution then.

I experienced way to many problems with the Axiim link and WISA dongle and I don’t wanna go there again.

Virker Volume kontrol egentligt fint med ARC forbindelse til Hall devicen?

                      Ja!
Yes, I did not notice any problems there.
Just use the remote of the tv.

if you’re at all interested in “unlocking” the world of Atmos audio, you might consider the expensive solution; getting a Theatre.
