I have a 6500 receiver and a 6500 turntable and an MCP 6500 remote control. I have the opportunity to buy a Beocord 7000 and a Beogram CD 7000. Are they compatible? Will MCP 6500 support all devices?

Hi suhy2, I can confirm that my BeoMaster 6500 and a BeoGram CD 7000 work perfectly together. A BeoCord 7000 will work too.

Mine are polished aluminium, and match visually too.

        Regards, Johan

In my case there would be a difference in appearance, I have Beomaster and Beogram 6500 in white (including the same MCP 6500), there is Beocord and Beogram CD in white on the Polish market, but probably beyond my financial reach at the moment. However, these two elements from the 7000 series are at a good price, but fully black. In total, two white and two black elements would also be ok. 😉

I’m away from home now, but when I come back I’ll show you photos of what I have, and if I make another purchase, I’ll add more after the new year. 🙂

Basicly it is the Master, that will determine the difference.

I’d say….you can mix ‘n’ match the 6500 and the 7000 elements as you please/are able to.
