Hi Forum
I have a BV 7-55 mkII with a BL 7-4 and BL-2.
I was recently watching a movie on the BV. When I switched off the BV afterwards, the speakers were still on (green LED). And the BV was not really switched off, because the small display on the upper right corner was showing the input source (Apple TV).
I had to remove the mains from the wall outlet.
The next day I switched on the BV again, but then the speakers remained off. I tried to disconnect the BL2, both from the wall outlet, and also from the menu of the BV (i.e., the Powerlink cable was not unplugged, but the speaker was unassigned). Then the BL7-4 switched on. So, I re-assigned the BL2, but then all sound was off again (red LEDs on both speakers). Now, the problem persists independently if the BL2 is assigned or not. The only way I can wake-up the speakers is via the sound menu of the BV7 when I play a test tone. As soon as I leave that menu, the speakers switch off again.
To me it seems the BV does not send the wake-up command to the speakers, other than when I enter the sound menu.
Do you have any idea of what is wrong here? Any help is much appreciated!
