Hi guys, I recently bought a B n O Beosound from an auction and basically the front sliding glass doors would not work but I soon got them working and it’s a great little system, with great sound quality, however I didnt get a remote with it and I canr find any stickers anywhere or anythjng showing exactly which model it is as I’ve seen many different similar ones but cant find this exact model online.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Whereas several earlier and later B&O remotes will work with your Beosystem 2500, the one that best works with it and that was sold concurrently is the Beo4.

Many Thanks for taking the time to reply, and for the info, I’ll have a search around for a remote, I imagine it could be quiet pricey so not sure if I’m gonna end up keeping it or selling it but would love to keep it as like I said the sound is soo clear and I love the wave feature that activates the front slinding panels, really nice unit, just weighs a ton lol

The identification sticker is found at the back of the main unit, – not visible when
the main unit is mounted in the metal bracket.
Most BeoSystem 2500 has the name printed at the lower left of the shiny front panel – below the tape bay, and yours doesn’t seem to have this, so my guess would
be BeoSound Ouverture or BeoCenter 2500, with Beolab 2500 speakers.
