Hi all, I am quite new to the B&O world and products and this is my first post on the forum!
I have two Beolab 9, and recently bought a second hand Beosound 4 to read CDs but most importantly my turntable (a Technics MKII with Behringer phono preamp), to be connected trhough the AUX line in of the Besound 4. The Beosound 4 works great and is really nice, but when I select the AUX line there is no sound from the turntable (turntable rca to preamp > preamp rca to aux in of the Beolab4). I also tried to simply connect my old phone with jack to rca in the AUX line in and there is no sound. What is interesting is that when the 3.5 Jack makes some noise when you plug in, but no music passes. As if the line works, but not the music.
I wonder if anyone has some advice here, I might be doing something wrong, or I need some special B&O cables? Thanks a lot already to anyone that can help!

There were a couple of people in the archived forum (2012-22) who had problems with BS4 aux inputs – unfortunately the threads that came up in my search don’t resolve the problem, but there is potentially a fault.
If you BS4 is faulty, there is a workaround using a BL1611 converter and the masterlink connection, but let’s hope that you can get it to work without.
