I am new to Beoworld and Bang and Olufsen equipment in general. I recently picked up a Beosound 2000 from a thrift store. It was pretty dirty and dusty but miraculously everything works. Cd player, cassette deck, radio, sliding door all function. I would like to find a remote for it. From the information I was able to find the Beolink 1000 is the correct remote. My question is are there other remotes that would work? There does not seem to be many Beolink 1000 units available in decent condition at a reasonable price. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello and welcome to Beoworld

A very great system you got there. I had one myself for several years and was very satisfied with it.

As for remote a BEO4 will also work. There are many different versions of this remote, but I think the only ones you should avoid are the hotel versions that are limited. You will know them by the lack of print on some of the keys.
