Beogram 8002

I have a beogram 8002 which had a chip replaced at the end of 1999. However, it was replaced with a chip from a 6000 or 6002 and the immediate meaning of this is that the record can only be repeated once. Is it possible to exchange it for an original one or is it too late for that?
the record player is in Denmark.
