The CDX 2 is now fine, so here is another “almost there” project. Beocord 8004.

Installed new belts, new LEDs in display, ( VERY small) , and gave it a good cleaning. When play is pressed, it only plays for approx. 1 second in both channels, then no music.
Then REWIND a couple of seconds, then it play again for 1 sec.
Tried several tapes, same result. Also recorded a tape on another tapedeck.
I think maybe it needs demagnetization, but I dont know.

Does anyone have a tip ?
And how to do the demagnetization ?
