Hi,
I had to replace doors at my Beocenter 9300. It was aaaa lot of work, but finally I made it !
Unfortunately not all went right. Doors are working opposite. What it means? When I start CD it opens a door and… try to start disc on open drive !!!
When I turn CD off it opens doors instead close them…
What I did wrong ? Doors for a Deck that I didn’t touch (only changed the belt) works properly.
Please help as I cannot find any good service documentation to my model (9300 from 1996).
Regards,
Radzio222
January 26, 2024 at 3:30 pm #29082It sounds like you have the cords wrapped around the drive shaft in the wrong direction. They initially go over the top, then under. There are some pictures in this thread:

Do you have the service manual? The door cord arrangement picture there should be followed carefully, and note that diagram shows the view from under the drive shafts.
EDIT: And the door cord mechanism is the same for all 9000 series BeoCenters – 9000, 9300, 9500.

No I couldn’t find any. If you could share with me, It would be great. That was my suspicion that I made it opposite. So another a lot of work with my Beo 🙁
January 26, 2024 at 4:52 pm #29087I can give you just the cord diagram – as viewed from under (inside) the BeoCenter:
The full manual is on the site available to gold and silver members – see here: https://beoworld.co.uk/what.asp
