Liebe Forum-Mitglieder,

ich überlege, mir eine Beo6 zu kaufen und wollte euch fragen, ob und wie ich diese dann selbst programmieren kann.

Würde gerne den Lightmanager Air oder Pro von JB Media damit ansteuern, um anschließend eine Steuerung für Licht und B&O Geräte zu machen.

Vielleicht habt ihr da Erfahrungen und könnet einem Neuling, der ich in diesem Thema bin, helfen.

Hi,

First, you need the Beo 5/6 configuration tool software. Latest version is CTSetup_6.84.

Second, you will find useful informations on Beoworld:

• Member Stoobie wrote a step-by step guide which may help you, in a thread called “Beo5” on the german forum.
• Visit the Beo5/6 Remote sub-forum (scroll down the Forums page)
• Visit Archive Forum 2012-2022 (top of this page), there is a dedicated sub-forum inside (scroll down on forum list page).
• Visit Archive 2007-2012, you’ll find a similar sub-forum.

Have a look at them first, then I’m sure Beoworld members will help you to sort the remaining problems.

Please excuse me writing in English. The Beo6 is a really good remote when you get it set up properly. It does take a lot of patience to programme, but once you learn how to programme it, the Beo6 is great.

I have a Lightmanager Pro. I use my Beo4 with it at the moment as my Beo6 and main system has been put away while we redecorate the living room. The Beo4 works really well. The Beo6 controls the light manager the same except you can name the buttons on screen to make it a bit easier to use.
